Welcome to the CTS Library!
Here you will find a rich collection of resources on the Bible, history of Christianity and world religions, theology, languages and literature, and the arts of ministry, including counseling.
Equally important are the services offered through the CTS library. A dedicated staff of librarians and student workers are eager to help you with your information needs. Please reach out to us!
All are welcome in the library at Christian Theological Seminary. We strive to meet the ethical standards of the American Library Association and other professional societies concerning equity, diversity, and inclusion; confidentiality; and intellectual freedom.
Search for Materials and Arrange for Curb-side Pick-Up
You can search the CTS Library Catalog for articles, books, and media using the search box below, or by going to https://ctslibrary.on.worldcat.org for more advanced search options.
After finding resources that you'd like to check out, please fill out and submit our Material Request and Curbside Pickup form.
Please note: Materials with either a "ref" or "hr" prefix in the call number are non-circulating. Ask a library staff person to see if there may be other ways of accessing the information you need.
Once your form has been received, a library staff person will contact you when your materials are available for pick-up (usually same day or next day). Simply call the circulation desk at (317) 931-2361 once you arrive on campus at the chapel entrance during library hours, and a member of the staff will bring your materials to you. It's that easy!
Chat with a Librarian
The CTS library staff offers online chat support to our patrons on Monday through Thursday (10:00 am to 8:00 pm), and Friday (10:00 am to 6:00 pm). Ask for help finding and accessing information, evaluating and citing sources, or any other library and information services questions. We are here to help you!
